Frequently Asked Questions
Any other questions you have may be answered in our FAQ’s section below.
What is outlet shopping?
Outlet shopping first came to prominence in the USA and is widely defined as being a dedicated mall-like development that shares characteristics similar to a mock street, village square or quay-side. Most outlets provide a superb shopping setting, extensive car parking and leisure facilities.
The discounted prices at an outlet are achieved via previous season stock, end-of-line products, quality seconds, discontinued produce and returned merchandise. Discounted goods can be anything from 30-80% off normal high street prices.
What is your returns policy?
Buying goods in outlet centres has no impact on your consumer rights so you are entitled to your money back if the item you purchase is damaged.
We suggest that you check with the store that you have purchased from as to their own returns policy. Some stores may not accept returns and only exchange.
Where can I get further information on the stores?
You can find every single store at Lakeside Village on the Stores page of this website. Within each individual store page there is a telephone number and unit number should you need them. To find out more about any particular store please contact them directly.
Where can I get a map of the centre?
We have an Interactive Map that you can explore. So that you don’t get lost and easily find the stores you need, download a copy of the village map and locate the stores that you wish to visit beforehand. You can also pick up copies of our site leaflet whilst navigating your way around Lakeside Village.
Where do I find information on special opening times at Christmas and Easter?
The only day that Lakeside Village closes is on Christmas Day.
Christmas and Easter Opening Times are usually uploaded to the ‘Opening Times’ page of the website about 4 weeks in advance of the holidays taking place.
When is late night shopping?
Every Thursday until 8pm.
Can I shop online?
Because of our exclusive discount prices much of the stock that arrives at each of our outlet stores is very quickly snapped up and there is therefore no opportunity to make it available for online sale. Outlet shopping is totally unique too and something that you really need to come and experience in person.
What does RRP stand for?
RRP stands for Recommended Retail Price. This is specified by manufacturers when they produce an item for sale.
Do you allow dogs on site?
All responsible dog owners are welcome on site including guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs.
