Frightfully fun family activities are set to take place at Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping this Halloween, with a pumpkin giveaway challenge and the chance to snap spooky photographs and win tasty treats around the centre.
Young shoppers are invited to search for Lakeside’s Spooky Skeletons from 11am – 4pm on Sunday 31 October, gathering the skeletons’ names before claiming a free pumpkin from Mrs Pumpkin to take home.
There will also be spooky Halloween-themed decorations around the centre, giving shoppers the opportunity to take their own photographs throughout the Halloween weekend, as well as enter Lakeside Village’s ‘Pose with a Pumpkin’ competition on both Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 October.
To enter and be in with the chance of winning one of five £10 gift cards to spend in the centre’s Cadbury’s store, shoppers simply have to share a photo of themselves on social media, posing with the giant pumpkin decoration, tagging Lakeside Village and using #LVspooky.
Di Rodgers, centre manager at Lakeside Village, said: “We’re sure our young visitors and their families will love exploring the centre this Halloween as part of our pumpkin giveaway challenge, seeking out our Spooky Skeletons and finding out their names so that they can claim their free pumpkin.
“We’ll also be getting into the ‘spirit’ of things with some spooky photo backdrops, so families can strike a pose and capture their Halloween-themed memories on camera, even winning a sweet treat from our Cadbury’s store as part of our Pose with a Pumpkin competition on social media.”
Another reason to head to Lakeside Village this Halloween is for a taste of Costa’s autumn range of drinks, with both the classic seasonal favourites back on offer, as well as some new additions.
From the much-loved Gingerbread and Cream Latte to the Black Forest and Cream Hot Chocolate, busy shoppers will find plenty to tempt their tastebuds, pairing an autumnal drink with a walk around the centre and a catch up with friends – as well as one of Costa’s new Gingerbread Latte Vegan Cookies or a Gingerbread Muffin, of course!
