Extra time for Doncaster Rovers as Lakeside Village extends sponsorship

Monday 8th October 2018

Doncaster Rovers FC have gone into extra time with their deal with retail shopping centre Lakeside Village, who has extended their sponsorship package with the club at the Keepmoat Stadium for the fifth year running.
David Aunins, centre manager for Lakeside Village, said: “We are proud to be extending our long, strong relationship with Doncaster Rovers by signing up for another year with the club.
“As neighbours in the Lakeside area of Doncaster we work together to make sure that our customers benefit from our partnership and this is something we intend to do more of in the coming year.
“It is great to see the families visiting the centre before or after a match at the Keepmoat Stadium and we are pleased to be able to provide them with somewhere so nearby to shop, drink, eat and relax.”
The deal will see Lakeside Village having a presence at the club on the scoreboard and with pitch side advertising and the club supporting events at Lakeside Village with visits from players and Donny Dog.
Gavin Baldwin, chief executive of Doncaster Rovers, said: “We are really pleased to be continuing to work with Lakeside Village and it is fantastic that they are supporting their local team.
“Our relationship is a great example of partnership working and we are so pleased to have such a good working relationship with our neighbours.
“We encourage visitors to our games from outside the area to make a day of it and working with Lakeside Village we are able to offer them somewhere close to the ground with great shopping and fantastic discounts.“
